Assistant Manager - Finance

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate invoice posting and resolve discrepancy invoices with relevant teams or buyers.
• Ensure timely payment execution and improve on-time payment accuracy.
• Monitor process performance, continuous improvement, and operational delivery.
• Review and close change requests, testing, migration, and process-related activities.
• Ensure vendor reconciliations follow the standard format and reconcile statements of account for assigned vendors and entities.
• Track and clear advance payments, handle payment rejections and uncleared checks, and recover supplier debit balances.
• Resolve vendor queries within 24-48 hours and acknowledge escalations or critical requests within 3 hours.
• Drive automation of invoice processing and vendor reconciliation using macros.
• Monitor transitions, testing, special projects, and process improvement initiatives through completion.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to accounting or finance.
• 10+ years of experience in procure-to-pay processes.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of general accounting, bookkeeping concepts, and internal controls.
• Proven experience ensuring smooth operations delivery.
• Core accounts payable knowledge, including invoice processing, vendor master data, and payments.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Proficiency in English and proven ability to drive customer satisfaction.
