About the role
Leads DevCo Operations strategic direction and operational excellence within Red Sea Global’s Technical Project Management Office.
Owns the strategy-to-execution chain, including business strategy, strategic roadmap, annual and three-year planning, and strategic initiatives.
Acts as a liaison between operational teams and executive management, translating performance data into actionable insights and decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development, refresh, and review of DevCo Operations’ business strategy.
- Oversee annual and three-year business planning with cross-functional stakeholders, integrating financial and operational objectives.
- Lead annual budget preparation, submission, and review with Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Maintain the Strategic Initiatives Register, tracking progress, milestones, and benefits through closure.
- Analyze operational efficiency, identify improvements, and develop supporting business cases.
- Design and manage a performance framework and produce Quarterly Business Review analyses.
- Conduct options appraisal, scenario modeling, and industry benchmarking.
- Prepare executive reports, papers, and presentations to support leadership decisions.
- Align DevCo Operations strategy, plans, and performance metrics with Group direction and related DevCo functions.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- Requires 7 to 10 years of progressive experience, including at least 4 years in corporate strategy, business planning, performance management, business analysis, or management consulting.
- Experience in complex project delivery environments is preferred.
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Technical and professional skills
- Expert proficiency in corporate strategy and strategic planning.
- Expert capability in business analysis and options appraisal.
- Advanced skills in business planning and portfolio prioritization.
- Advanced expertise in KPI framework design and performance management.
- Expert-level executive communication and presentation design.
- Requires analytical modeling, executive-grade presentations, and strong written and spoken English; Arabic is advantageous.
- Requires collaboration, influence, proactive problem-solving, continuous improvement, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
