About This Role
Role Purpose
This role will lead the full costing across all factories of the group (FZE, IA, Poland and Romania) as well as support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting in a manufacturing environment.
The role requires exceptional Excel modelling capability, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in costing and performance analysis, gained through Big4 and/or corporate FP&A roles within multinational production companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead detailed product and operational costing analysis including material, conversion, and overhead costs.
- Conduct costing assessments to validate cost accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze purchase price variances (PPV), raw material cost movement, and supplier pricing trends.
- Perform consumption, yield, and efficiency analysis against standards.
- Support margin analysis and cost actualisation / revaluation exercises.
- Support preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for manufacturing and operational functions.
- Build and maintain advanced Excel-based financial models, assumptions, and scenario analyses.
- Track actual vs budget/forecast performance and provide clear variance analysis and business commentary.
- Prepare monthly management reports with focus on gross margin, cost drivers, and operational performance.
- Develop Excel dashboards and analytical tools to support decision-making.
- Act as a finance business partner to operations, procurement, and supply chain teams.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives in costing, budgeting, and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- Very strong Excel modelling skills (advanced formulas, pivots, scenario modelling; Power Query, Power BI is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing costing principles (standard vs actual costing, PPV, consumption analysis).
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Experience gained through Big4 (Audit, Advisory) and/or corporate FP&A or costing roles.
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Typically 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
