Responsibilities
- Inspect cleaned guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas; verify room status, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
- Coordinate housekeeping with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry; resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk.
- Prepare and communicate room assignments, hand over issues, and complete paperwork.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, and coaching.
- Follow safety and security policies, report hazards and incidents, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Provide guest service, protect confidential information and company assets, maintain quality standards, and communicate professionally.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- The role involves lifting, pushing and pulling loaded carts, reaching, bending, and standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods.
- Use computers or point-of-sale systems and read and visually verify information in different formats.
