Role overview
The Assistant Guest Relations Manager supports the guest experience across Tapasake's restaurant, pool, and Sky Lounge, from reservation through departure.
Key responsibilities
- Support reservations and table/cabana allocation across the venue's restaurant, pool, and Sky Lounge.
- Build relationships with VIP guests, regulars, and key contacts to drive repeat visits; personally host VIP arrivals and coordinate handovers to service teams.
- Maintain the guest database/CRM, including preferences, spend history, and special occasions.
- Coordinate guest lists with promoters, hosts, and marketing for key nights and events.
- Handle feedback and resolve service issues; coordinate VIP guest flow with floor, bar, and kitchen management.
- Support recruitment, training, and coaching of the Guest Relations/Host team.
Ideal candidate
- At least 2–3 years in guest relations, VIP hosting, or a similar guest-facing role in luxury restaurants, beach/pool clubs, or 5-star hospitality; new-opening experience is a plus.
- A strong Dubai hospitality/nightlife network is preferred; polished interpersonal and relationship-building skills are expected.
- Proficiency with reservation/CRM systems and problem-solving under pressure during peak periods.
- Fluent English; Arabic, French, Russian, or Japanese is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced environment.
