Position summary
Front office role combining guest service and front desk transactions with support for employee coaching and team operations.
Guest services and transactions
- Process check-ins, verify guest identity and payment, assign rooms, issue keys, and set up accurate guest accounts.
- Verify rates and billing; process payments, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges; balance receipts and follow accounting procedures.
- Compile daily reports and logs and complete cashier and closing reports.
- Provide directions and property information, accommodate guest requests, and follow up on service needs.
Team support and standards
- Assist with training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees; support team goals and address employee concerns.
- Welcome guests, communicate professionally, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain service quality.
- Use computers and POS systems, prepare and review documents, answer telephones, and protect confidential information.
- Follow policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete safety training, maintain professional appearance, and protect company assets.
- Refer guest theft reports to Loss Prevention or Security.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No license or certification is listed.
