Financial responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy; organize and secure records, files, cash, and cash equivalents.
- Record, access, and analyze computerized financial information; classify and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment is received or resolved.
Department and workplace duties
- Coordinate tasks across departments, serve as a role model or mentor, and ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Report work-related accidents and injuries; follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
- Communicate professionally, prepare and review written documents, answer telephones appropriately, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors; move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience is listed as required; no license or certification is specified.
