Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with extensive experience in ICU or ER settings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, clinical excellence, and team management in critical care environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of ICU and/or ER nursing units
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to nursing staff
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 20 years of nursing experience, with significant ICU or ER experience
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial nursing role
- Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, patient safety, and hospital policies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and implement best practices
