The BIM Structural Modeler provides drafting support on multidisciplinary projects and creates 2D drawings and 3D models.
The role is responsible for the technical quality of its work and compliance with project objectives and quality standards.
Experience and qualifications
- Experience preparing minimum LOD 300 REVIT documentation in 3D and 2D, general arrangement drawings, composite steel drawings, structural steel drawings, reinforcement drawings, and reinforcement detailing.
- Experience on international projects is required.
- Precast experience is an advantage; BIM management experience is preferred.
- Candidates should be self-motivated, work well in a team, and work independently with minimum supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of building structural elements and hands-on BIM experience in modeling, scheduling, coordination, documentation, project setup, execution, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings and 2D/3D models for a range of projects.
- Support, mentor, and train drafting team members on complex tasks.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers on BIM documentation and drafting.
- Ensure technical correctness, project standard compliance, and timely delivery of drawings and documents.
- Liaise with architecture, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Use REVIT Archi and REVIT MEP for model coordination and Navisworks for model checking.
- Apply BIM practices to project setup, execution, monitoring, modeling, scheduling, multi-D coordination, and documentation.
- Follow company policies and procedures and maintain professional discipline and work ethics.
