Develop business through prospecting, referrals, trace files, cold calls, account development, and client site inspections.
Sales and event delivery
- Build and maintain a pipeline, follow up on prospective clients, and convert leads into confirmed sales.
- Develop sales strategies and pursue new business through research, networking, cold calls, and referrals.
- Coordinate confirmed catering services and monitor events, resolve execution issues, and maintain service quality.
- Work with kitchen, logistics, service, culinary, operations, and sales teams to deliver events and satisfy clients.
Client, menu, and contract management
- Plan appealing, cost-effective menus that address client preferences, dietary restrictions, and cultural requirements.
- Build supplier, customer, and internal stakeholder relationships and provide tailored client solutions.
- Discuss contract requirements, negotiate terms, administer contracts, and maintain accurate records.
Budgets and compliance
- Formulate and achieve individual and hotel-level budgets.
- Follow applicable statutory requirements, licensing, procedures, and other compliance requirements.
Qualifications and experience
- A degree in hospitality management or an equivalent degree course.
- Three to five years of hospitality industry experience.
- English is listed as a language needed for the position.
