Role overview

Strategy and delivery

• Own and refine the group AI strategy and phased roadmap; align functions on priorities, standards, and funding assumptions.
• Coordinate cross-functional AI project execution, use-case intake, proofs of value, scaled releases, and operational readiness.
• Define ROI baselines, benefits owners, success metrics, and tracking cadence; report quarterly progress, KPIs, and risks.

Adoption and governance

• Lead AI change, communications, training, adoption plans, dashboards, and an AI champions network.
• Develop responsible AI policies and governance for privacy, ethics, security, UAE regulations, risk controls, bias assessment, and human oversight.

Vendor management

• Evaluate AI tools and providers, run proofs of concept, and manage partner performance through SLAs, value tracking, and quarterly reviews.
• Named provider examples include Microsoft, Oracle, and specialized AI vendors.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• 8–10 years in technology or digital transformation, including at least 3 years leading AI initiatives.
• Proven AI/ML or data analytics project management; strong understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and AI tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Oracle AI, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Skills and competencies

• Strategic thinking, project and change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data ethics, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
