Work with structural engineers, project managers, and site teams to prepare and revise structural shop drawings in line with approved designs and specifications.
The role supports delivery of a flagship luxury residential project.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural shop drawings from IFC drawings and design specifications.
- Coordinate structural drawings with architectural and MEP disciplines to avoid clashes.
- Prepare bar bending schedules and reinforcement detailing.
- Incorporate consultant comments and revise drawings.
- Support approval submissions and respond to technical queries.
- Assist site teams with drawing clarifications and updates.
- Maintain organized drawing and revision documentation.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8–10 years of experience in a UAE contracting environment.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit Structure knowledge is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of structural detailing and reinforcement drawings.
- Good coordination skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple drawing packages.
