Overview

Architectural Design

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, space plans and design proposals.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details and other architectural drawings.
• Translate project requirements and management direction into clear design solutions.
• Support projects from initial concept through design development and execution.
• Review existing spaces, drawings and project information and recommend suitable improvements.
• Prepare mood boards, material selections, finishes and design presentations.
• Ensure that designs are functional, aesthetically appropriate and aligned with project objectives.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, interior design and other relevant disciplines.
• Review consultant, contractor and supplier drawings, materials and submissions.
• Conduct site visits, measurements and inspections when required.
• Monitor design implementation and identify any deviations from approved drawings.
• Maintain organised records of drawings, revisions, approvals and project documentation.

Visualization and Digital Design

• Prepare high-quality 3D models, renderings, presentations and visualizations.
• Use digital and AI-assisted design tools to support concept generation and design development.
• Produce alternative design options for management review.
• Enhance presentations, images and architectural visuals using appropriate software.
• Stay updated on new architecture, BIM, visualization and AI design technologies.
• Recommend tools and processes that improve design quality and efficiency.

Project Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Attend project and design coordination meetings as required.
• Follow up on design submissions, approvals and revisions.
• Support material, furniture, fixture and equipment selection.
• Assist in reviewing technical proposals, quotations and design-related documentation.
• Ensure that design requirements are communicated clearly to all relevant parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Professional membership or architectural registration is an advantage.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in architectural design.
• Experience in residential, commercial, office, hospitality or mixed-use projects is preferred.
• Experience in concept design, technical drawings and visualization.
• Previous exposure to projects from concept through execution is highly desirable.
