Role overview

Design and documentation

• Develop concepts, schematic designs, space plans, and design proposals; prepare layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Prepare design packages, construction drawings, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines; maintain accuracy, completeness, and agreed deadlines.

Regulatory and project coordination

• Address UAE building code, planning, fire and life safety, and accessibility requirements; assist with authority submissions and respond to comments.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, attend meetings, clarify drawings, conduct site visits when required, and review shop drawings and material submissions.
• Present designs to clients, incorporate feedback, identify discrepancies, and manage multiple assignments through timely delivery.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant architectural experience; UAE experience is preferred.
• Consultancy experience is preferred. Familiarity with UAE regulations and authority approvals, and coordination with structural and MEP teams, is specified.
• Relevant UAE professional registration or authority eligibility may be needed where required for the role.

Technical skills

• AutoCAD proficiency is essential. Revit and BIM workflows are an advantage.
• SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, or other visualization tools are advantageous.
• Ability to prepare architectural drawings, presentations, and technical documentation; good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Good written and spoken English is required. Arabic is an advantage.
