Uses healthcare, business, and InterSystems product knowledge to support successful, standard, and timely product contracting and implementation.
Acts as an expert nursing resource for customers, assesses solution fit, and advises on standard implementation and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer processes and advise on best-fit solutions while keeping customer-specific work to a minimum.
- Coordinate customer-related matters with relevant areas of the business.
- Stay current with product developments through the normal release cycle.
- Visit customer sites and travel regularly for projects; travel may involve up to five days away from home each week.
Essential experience and skills
- At least three years of healthcare experience and a good understanding of clinical processes.
- Nursing experience in a hospital and experience with EMR systems.
- Understanding and experience with Hospital Information, Patient Administration (PAS), and Clinical Information Systems.
- Customer interaction experience, including with clinicians, and strong customer messaging.
- Experience with customer training, workshops, or presentations; consultative communication skills.
- Experience contributing to multidisciplinary teams, writing functional documents, and business process mapping.
- Knowledge of information systems.
Education and training
- University nursing degree; the description specifies a nursing background with ICU, oncology, and maternity experience.
- Clinical specialty and proficiency in English.
Desirable experience
- Healthcare stakeholder communication across different levels and public or private organizations.
- Software solution implementation, customer-facing IT services, or previous application or configuration specialist experience.
- Change management, computer skills, and software testing experience.
