Revenue management duties
- Assist with room inventory management to maximize cluster room revenue and maintain reservation-system information accuracy.
- Support reservation-system automation and prepare competitive analyses and materials for market sales strategy meetings.
- Help manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions; communicate rate strategy and restrictions to properties.
- Perform month-end revenue management reporting and auditing; provide forward-looking information for forecasting and financial planning.
- Generate, process, and update property and market reports, supporting the revenue management team’s reporting and analytical needs.
- Maintain systems by entering rate hurdles, monitoring forecast demand, updating group forecasts, and running daily system checks.
- Assist with training new associates on revenue management tools.
- Help implement hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
General duties and standards
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality assurance standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, communicate professionally, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Build positive working relationships and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns.
- Read and visually verify information; perform other reasonable duties as requested. The role may involve moving objects up to 15 pounds and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is listed as preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
