The role provides functional support to cloud clients using Calypso and works with Nasdaq teams internationally.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support and communicate with clients using Calypso modules for front office, treasury, risk, compliance, operations, accounting, and related activities.
- Investigate reported issues, recommend resolutions, and help prevent recurrence.
- Advise on Calypso implementation and make approved functional configuration changes.
- Monitor scheduled tasks and real-time interface exceptions; analyze failures and identify root causes and solutions.
- Improve clients' use of the application and report software defects with test cases to Product Support.
- Prioritize hotfix deployment and pre-validate hotfixes or configuration changes in client test environments.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 1 year of capital markets experience, such as business analysis or operations.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of financial products and how they are priced, settled, and managed through their lifecycle.
- Knowledge of P&L reporting, risk, pricing, analytics, front- and back-office reporting, settlement, accounting, trade lifecycle events, collateral, and static data.
- A master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or IT; Finance is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- CFA, IMC, CISI, or another postgraduate finance qualification is preferred.
- Calypso knowledge is advantageous; training and certification are expected after hiring.
- Other application knowledge may include Murex, Finastra Summit or Kondor+, Aladdin, or SimCorp.
- Bloomberg Terminal proficiency, market data sources, third-party systems, relevant regulations, and advanced Excel are preferred.
