Job responsibilities
- Assist in developing Tableau dashboards and reports from business requirements.
- Work with senior developers and analysts to understand requirements, data sources, and reporting needs.
- Explore and validate data and perform quality checks for report accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain dashboards and support ad hoc reporting requests.
- Document dashboard logic, metrics, calculations, and data definitions.
- Apply Tableau best practices for visualization design, usability, and performance.
- Support QA and testing of dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate to translate business problems into meaningful data-driven outputs.
Required skills
- Requires a strong foundation in SQL and data querying and hands-on knowledge of Tableau and data visualization.
- Requires working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation and understanding of data analytics and exploration.
- Requires a basic understanding of Azure and cloud-based data environments.
- Requires analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work with large datasets, and communication and collaboration skills.
