Assistant Manager role supporting a back-office database migration as an experienced Data Business Analyst.

Responsibilities
- Own data mapping from requirements gathering through validation and vendor sign-off.
- Work with operations, engineering, product, compliance, and vendors to establish the source of truth for each data element.
- Maintain field-level mappings, value translations, structural differences, known gaps, execution order, and validation criteria.
- Investigate data quality issues and distinguish engineering-solvable problems from source-data limitations.
- Coordinate reviews, track open items to closure, and secure alignment before implementation.
- Pull samples and write profiling queries to validate mappings and surface defects before handoff.
Requirements
- Experience in data mapping, data migration, or data analysis.
- Strong SQL skills and comfort writing profiling and validation queries.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Financial services or back-office operations experience is described as ideal.
