Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Build applications and automations that improve operations and user experience, and apply AI capabilities to business problems.
• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, Product Owners, Architects, and data teams to deliver measurable solutions.
• Prototype and validate ideas; build maintainable solutions aligned with architecture, security, and operational standards.
• Support deployment across environments and ongoing application stability, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Cloud Operations and Infrastructure teams to maintain secure, reliable production environments.
• Contribute to standards, documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing; mentor developers.
• Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies and manage priorities across business and technology teams.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of software development experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting modern full-stack business applications.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript, or equivalent modern programming languages.
• Experience developing cloud-based solutions; Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Working knowledge of AI and generative AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, agents, and copilots.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications and rapidly developing business tools or prototypes with Streamlit or a similar framework.
• Familiarity with source control, automated testing, CI/CD, Agile, and full-lifecycle application support.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
