Job Description

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements and offshore safety regulations.
• Conduct regular offshore site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
• Monitor PTW (Permit to Work), SIMOPS, confined space entry, lifting operations, and emergency response activities.
• Organize toolbox talks, HSE inductions, emergency drills, and training programs.
• Coordinate with client HSE representatives and offshore management teams.
• Maintain HSE statistics, reports, KPIs, and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure availability and inspection of PPE, firefighting, lifesaving, and emergency equipment.
• Promote a strong safety culture and behavioral safety initiatives offshore.
• Support environmental compliance including waste management and spill prevention.
• Participate in management review meetings and client audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC mandatory; NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
• ADNOC Approved HSE Manager certification mandatory.
• Minimum 10–15 years of Oil & Gas HSE experience.
• Minimum 5 years offshore experience in ADNOC offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
• ADNOC HSEMS
• PTW systems
• Offshore construction and maintenance activities

• Hazid / Hazop

• Incident Investigation
• Risk Assessment

• Emergency Response Procedures

• Certifications preferred:

• IOSH Managing Safely

• OSHA

• First Aid / Firefighting

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.

Work Conditions

• Offshore rotational assignment (e.g., 28/28 or company policy).
• Must be medically fit for offshore deployment.
• Willingness to stay offshore for extended durations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Previously worked on ADNOC Offshore / Upper Zakum / Lower Zakum projects.
• Experience handling multinational offshore workforce.
• Strong audit and client coordination experience.
