Job Title: Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) – ADNOC Approved

Location: UAE (ADNOC Sites)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ADNOC-approved Appointed Person responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all lifting operations in compliance with ADNOC standards and UAE regulations. The role ensures safe lifting practices, proper resource allocation, and adherence to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all lifting operations in accordance with ADNOC lifting procedures.
• Prepare and approve lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Ensure cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories are certified and fit for purpose.
• Supervise lifting activities and ensure safe execution on-site.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors.
• Conduct site inspections prior to lifting operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and ADNOC safety standards.
• Stop any unsafe lifting operation and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation and lifting records.

Requirements:

• ADNOC-approved Appointed Person certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in lifting operations in oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and load calculations.
• Familiarity with ADNOC HSE standards and lifting regulations.
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed lifting plans and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Valid certification as Appointed Person (Lifting Operations).
• Additional HSE certifications will be an advantage.
