Oversees the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function in the oil and gas sector.
Supports cash-flow management and coordinates with internal departments and external clients.
Accounts receivable operations
- Supervise billing, invoicing, collections, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Monitor customer accounts and implement collection strategies for outstanding debts.
- Review and approve invoices, credit notes, and reconciliations; prepare AR aging and management reports.
Compliance and coordination
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and Qatar financial regulations.
- Coordinate with project, commercial, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain ERP records, support audits, improve AR controls, and assist with cash-flow forecasting and financial planning.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in a core Accounts Receivable role.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred.
Skills and systems
- Expertise in accounting compliance, financial reporting, and end-to-end AR management.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable in MS Navision or a similar ERP system.
- Strong organization, time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
