About the client
A well-established global supplier based in Abu Dhabi produces high-quality tissue grades.
Job responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment requests.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts payable aging and payment due dates.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with company financial controls and applicable UAE VAT requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of overall accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Accounts Payable.
- Experience processing approximately 500 invoices per month.
- Practical UAE VAT compliance experience, including VAT return preparation and filing.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
