Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Accounts Manager** to oversee the company's financial operations, accounting processes, and reporting activities.
The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective management of the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Oversee VAT compliance, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes.
- Monitor company expenses and implement cost-control measures.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Liaise with banks, government authorities, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum **7-10** **years of accounting experience**, with at least 5 **years in a managerial role**.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
