Overview
We are looking for a technically strong Accounting & Tax Manager to lead our Corporate Services division.
This is a hands-on management role combining technical oversight, team leadership, and direct client relationship management.
You will supervise a local Dubai team while coordinating with our offshore accounting team in different countries
Technical
- Oversee UAE Corporate Tax compliance across the client portfolio (CT filings, transfer pricing basics, FTA correspondence)
- Supervise VAT returns, ESR notifications, UBO filings, and general compliance calendar
- Review and validate financial statements prepared by junior staff
- Stay current on FTA regulatory updates and translate implications for clients proactively
Management
- Day-to-day supervision of the Dubai accounting team (4–6 people)
- Quality control and workflow coordination with the Pakistan team — establishing clear deliverable standards, review cycles, and escalation protocols
- Onboarding and training of junior staff
- Implement and maintain internal process documentation
Client
- Primary point of contact for key accounts — able to hold a senior-level conversation with business owners and HNW clients
- Identify upsell opportunities within existing client base (additional compliance services, advisory mandates)
- Handle client escalations without systematic escalation to CEO
Profile
- ACCA qualified — mandatory. CPA or CMA considered if Gulf experience is strong
- 7–10 years experience, minimum 5 years UAE, minimum 2 years in a supervisory role
- Live, operational experience on UAE Corporate Tax — not theoretical
- Experience coordinating or supervising an offshore team is a strong plus
- Bilingual French/English — professional proficiency in both, written and spoken
- Prior experience in an accounting firm or corporate services environment preferred over pure industry background
