Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support to operational teams, recommend corrective actions, involve IT when needed, and assist with issue resolution.
• Test change requests, system updates, and configuration changes and review release notes.
• Maintain global associate security access and assess compliance through security testing and analysis.
• Support the annual IT audit of accounting-system access controls.
• Determine system requirements and communicate them through specifications, reports, project plans, or other documents.
• Document business requirements, implement specifications, and monitor compliance and effectiveness.
• Document accounting-system processes, automation, exception handling, and issue resolution; recommend best practices.
• Create end-user references, train new hires, and help correct issues affecting system processes.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of combined Accounting/Finance and Financial Systems experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in the Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials/EPM financials module.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials ERP modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Fixed Assets, and Procurement.
• Operational or technical knowledge of General Ledger and Subledger Accounting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining complex solutions to a wide audience.
• Demonstrated process improvement and a proactive, adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with managed services and/or offshore teams.

Preferred experience

• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
