Programme Overview
Zurich Insurance is offering a 10-week Accounting Summer Internship starting in June 2027.

Internship Activities
- Participate in the accounting department's day-to-day activities.
- Contribute to real projects that deliver value to the business and customers.
- Potential projects include process transformation, financial support, and management information development.
- Develop personal and professional skills with support from industry experts, senior managers, and a buddy or mentor.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be in the penultimate year of an undergraduate degree and on track for a predicted 2:1 or equivalent.
- Have at least 96 UCAS points from three A-Level subjects or equivalent, excluding general studies.
- Have at least a C/4 grade in both English and Mathematics at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Have a passion for becoming an effective accountant.
- A numerical degree is preferred but is not required.
Key Dates
- The internship starts in June 2027 and runs for 10 weeks.
- Applications close on Sunday 18 October 2026.
Working Arrangement
- Zurich describes the workforce as hybrid.
- Interns must initially work full-time in the office for training, with some teams requiring office attendance for most of the working week.
- Applicants should be within commutable distance of the stated office workplace.
Compensation and Benefits
- The internship offers a £24,968.58 pro rata salary.
- Benefits include pro rata holiday, a contribution toward private medical cover, a 12% company pension contribution, and flexible benefits.
