Opportunity

What you'll be doing

• Design and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and scenarios based on business requirements and project specifications.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests to schedule.
• Record results and manage defects through identification, logging, tracking, retesting, and resolution support.
• Collaborate across business and technology teams, participate in defect triage, and communicate progress, outcomes, risks, and issues.
• Improve QA processes and support testing standards, best practices, and test management solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, and collaborate with developers to increase automation and test coverage.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting; apply appropriate testing tools, methods, and standards.
• Monitor testing trends and practices to support continuous improvement.

Essential requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven software testing and quality assurance experience.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test design, and defect management.
• Experience designing test strategies, test cases, and test plans.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile delivery practices.
• Analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, attention-to-detail, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and high-quality technology solutions.

Preferred requirements

• Insurance or financial services experience.
• Automation testing tools and frameworks experience.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or C# programming or scripting.
• Experience with test management platforms, automation framework development, or automated test execution.
• Understanding of application landscapes, integration testing, and digital platforms.

• Technical skills include test strategy and planning, test design and execution, quality assurance and management, defect management, automation, SDLC, Agile, application landscape knowledge, UX evaluation, risk management, and root cause analysis.
