Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and scenarios based on business requirements and project specifications.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; document results and identify, track, retest, and support resolution of defects.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and cross-functional teams; participate in defect triage and report progress, outcomes, risks, and issues.
• Improve QA processes, testing efficiency, standards, and test management practices.
• Support test automation through scripts and frameworks and collaborate with developers to improve automated coverage.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting; apply testing tools, methodologies, and standards and stay current with industry practices.

Essential requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven software testing and quality assurance experience, including testing methodologies, test design, and defect management.
• Experience designing test strategies, developing test cases, and executing test plans.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, attention to detail, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality technology solutions.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Insurance or financial services experience is preferred.
• Automation testing tools, frameworks, framework development, and automated test execution experience are preferred.
• Programming or scripting knowledge such as Java, Python, or C# is preferred.
• Other listed competencies include application landscape knowledge, UX evaluation, risk management, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
