Accountant & Inventory Controller ( Female )

About the role

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and general ledger entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including customer and supplier reconciliations; prepare and review financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Manage UAE VAT calculations, returns, reconciliations and supporting documents.
• Maintain Corporate Tax records, calculations and compliance documentation, and coordinate return filing.
• Monitor current UAE tax laws, FTA requirements and compliance obligations; coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
• Monitor inventory and stock movements, reconcile physical stock against system records, investigate discrepancies, and record stock transactions and adjustments.
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, warehouse and operations teams; prepare accounting, inventory, VAT and management reports.
• Identify discrepancies or compliance issues and report them to management with recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, and good understanding of UAE tax laws, FTA rules and compliance requirements.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Inventory accounting and stock reconciliation experience is an advantage.
• ACCA, CMA, CA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Dubai Silicon Oasis before starting work.
