About This Role

Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial operations across real estate, facility management, and hospitality divisions. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, reporting, budgeting, and coordination with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies.
• Manage lease accounting, rental income tracking, and tenant accounts.
• Monitor property-related expenses and service charges.
• Prepare statements for property owners and tenants.
• Handle security deposits and lease agreements financials.
• Track maintenance contracts, service agreements, and vendor payments.
• Monitor operational expenses for FM projects/sites.
• Allocate costs to respective projects and prepare cost reports.
• Support budgeting and cost control for FM operations.
• Reconcile daily revenue reports (rooms, F&B, services).
• Monitor POS transactions and cash collections.
• Handle inventory accounting (food, beverages, supplies).
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and cost tracking.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare VAT reports and ensure tax compliance (if applicable).
• Assist in audits and provide required documentation.
• Generate financial reports for management decision-making.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate, FM, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
