About This Role
Sunnahti is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Healthcare Accountant to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing healthcare-related financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records, supporting revenue cycle processes, and maintaining compliance with healthcare and financial regulations.
This role is ideal for a finance professional who understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in the healthcare sector and thrives in a structured, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations within healthcare services and facilities
- Record and reconcile patient billing, insurance claims, and revenue transactions
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable processes related to healthcare operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support month-end closing activities
- Track healthcare-related expenses, budgets, and cost center performance
- Coordinate with medical, administrative, and insurance teams on financial matters
- Assist in insurance claims reconciliation and follow-up processes
- Support internal and external audits with complete financial documentation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or medical organizations
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing systems, insurance processes, and revenue cycles
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Ability to work in a regulated, fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
