Senior AR Accountant

About This Role

Consultus4 is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full AR cycle, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate customer accounts, and supporting strong cash flow management across the business.

This role is well-suited for a finance professional who combines technical accounting expertise with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to credit control and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and reduce overdue balances
• Prepare AR aging reports, collection forecasts, and monthly financial summaries
• Reconcile customer statements and resolve billing or payment discrepancies efficiently
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to manage credit limits and customer accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables
• Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records for audit and compliance purposes
• Assist in cash flow planning and revenue tracking
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Identify and implement improvements in AR processes and collection efficiency

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and credit control processes
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively
• Experience in consulting, services, or multinational environments is an advantage
