Accountant role requiring at least two years of relevant accounting and VAT experience.
Qualifications and experience
- CA, CMA, or ACCA finalist qualification is required.
- At least two years of relevant accounting and VAT experience is required.
- UAE VAT compliance and accounting experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, VAT returns, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with good communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file VAT returns; handle VAT calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with financial statements, reports, and monthly closing entries.
- Ensure statutory and VAT compliance; coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments.
- Maintain documentation for VAT audits and tax assessments.
Pay
- AED 3,800–5,000 per month.
