We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accountant with experience in billing and receivables
to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate billing for the trucking team.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Invoicing:
- Timely and accurate invoicing to customer based on agreed tariff / rates.
- Reconciliation:
- Perform regular reconciliations to ensure there are no old unbilled items.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Liase with internal stakeholders and customer and resolve the disputes, if any.
- Reporting:
- Preparing & reviewing reports relating to billing and other adhoc reports.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/MCOM/CPA/CA or equivalent certification preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in managing billing and invoicing.
- Trucking industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
