Accounts receivable cycle
- Manage the equipment rental AR cycle, including order review, rental settlement and billing calculation, invoice issuance, and AR reconciliation.
- Ensure consistency among contracts, orders, equipment usage records, settlement statements, invoices, and accounting records.
Billing analysis and reporting
- Review billing and revenue recognition logic, identify discrepancies between operational data, invoicing, and revenue, and follow up with relevant departments.
- Prepare regular analysis of aging, collection status, DSO, unbilled revenue, pending settlement, billing and revenue variances, and customer and project profitability.
Coordination and process improvement
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to improve order-to-cash processes and ensure timely settlement, invoicing, and collection.
- Support monthly closing, revenue cut-off review, AR reconciliation, and management reporting.
- Assist with improvements to financial processes, Excel reporting, and ERP/system controls.
Role knowledge and capabilities
- Understand equipment rental business scenarios and reconcile commercial, operational, billing, and accounting records.
- Review billing and revenue recognition logic and identify discrepancies across operating data, invoices, and revenue.
- Prepare AR and business analysis, including collection, settlement, variance, and profitability measures.
- Coordinate across Sales, Operations, and Finance to support an effective order-to-cash process.
