About MANEL
MANEL is a Dubai luxury fashion house founded in 2019, selling through e-commerce, wholesale partners, and private clients across the GCC.
The company operates its own production facility in Dubai.
Core accounting and compliance
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries; close the books monthly and prepare financial statements.
- Reconcile e-commerce sales, payment gateway, and instalment-provider payouts against bank receipts.
- Prepare and file VAT returns, support Corporate Tax compliance, prepare for UAE e-invoicing requirements, and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks.
Stock, wholesale, cash, and reporting
- Maintain inventory, raw material, and production cost records; support cost-per-piece calculations and report fabric scrap, write-offs, and returns.
- Track wholesale partner invoices, payment terms, and collections; monitor cash flow and payment schedules.
- Maintain documentation and internal controls; support management, board, and investor reporting.
What you bring
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least 4 years of accounting experience.
- Fashion, retail, trading, or FMCG experience is ideal.
- Hands-on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filing experience; experience with Odoo, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar; strong Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and reliability under deadlines; good English. Arabic is a plus.
Success measures
Complete the monthly close on time and accurately; file VAT and Corporate Tax returns on time with no penalties.
Track wholesale partner receivable days and achieve clean audit results.
