Role Overview

Accounting Responsibilities

• Manage and record daily financial transactions in Zoho Books.
• Maintain books of accounts, supporting documentation, the general ledger, and journal entries.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices, supplier bills, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
• Monitor outstanding balances, expenses, budgets, cash flow, fixed assets, depreciation, and supplier payment schedules.
• Perform bank, petty cash, and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow reports.
• Organize accounting records for audits and management review.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, auditors, and tax consultants.

Tax Compliance Responsibilities

• Prepare and review UAE VAT calculations and returns and ensure accurate, timely submission.
• Verify tax invoices, credit notes, and supporting documents for VAT compliance.
• Reconcile input and output VAT accounts and maintain complete VAT records.
• Support UAE Corporate Tax calculations, documentation, and filing requirements.
• Monitor statutory deadlines and coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants when required.
• Ensure financial transactions comply with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Proven hands-on experience using Zoho Books.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Previous UAE accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting and tax deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 5,500–6,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
