Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents; record daily payments, receipts, invoices, and expenses.
• Prepare customer invoices for packing, moving, transportation, and storage services; monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, verify financial transactions, and track operational expenses, supplier payments, and customer collections.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting summaries; assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and cash flow management.
• Verify bills, purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents; coordinate with operations and logistics teams about charges and expenses.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain updated account records; assist with monthly and annual closing.
• Support VAT documentation and tax-related accounting activities under applicable UAE requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and organized records available for internal reviews and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Accountant or Accounts Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Understanding of UAE VAT procedures is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and meet financial deadlines.
• Honest, reliable, and professional when handling confidential financial information.
