Key responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial transactions are accurate and complete.
- Process invoices, track payments, and keep accounts payable and receivable records current.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and track expenses against policies and accounting standards.
- Support payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Enter accounting data into software and maintain organized financial documentation.
- Support tax preparation and filing in accordance with local tax laws.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation and provide requested records.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, including variance analysis and budgeting.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; the source also mentions a master's without clarifying the requirement.
- ACCA or CMA qualification is specified.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the UAE.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Excel.
