We are a diversified Main Contractor hiring an Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
- Handle supplier invoices, Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and payment processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments on financial documentation and support audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls
Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Mandatory experience in the construction/contracting industry (Civil or MEP).
- Practical understanding of supplier accounts, invoices, GRNs, payment processing, bank reconciliations, and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good English communication skills and a professional working attitude.
