The Account Manager is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
The role focuses on growing sales, developing customer accounts, and coordinating customer service across project, branch, and operational teams.
Essential Duties
- Prospect and onboard new accounts.
- Develop strategies to increase sales growth in existing customer accounts.
- Conduct weekly account visits to achieve account coverage goals.
- Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives.
- Attend weekly strategy meetings with the Regional Sales Manager and scheduled team meetings.
- Document sales activities in the company CRM on an ongoing basis.
- Facilitate customer service between project, branch, and operational teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Bring 2-3 years of sales experience in electrical distribution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Electrical experience is required.
- Demonstrate productive relationship-building ability and a record of achieving sales targets.
- Communicate effectively with current and prospective customers.
- Have excellent negotiation skills and CRM software experience.
Compensation
- The anticipated annual base salary range is CAD 60,000 to CAD 90,000.
- Final compensation depends on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
- The stated range excludes variable pay and other total rewards components.
