Job description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in accounting, banking operations, and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate must have a solid background in finance and accounting within the UAE, in-depth knowledge of banking procedures, and the ability to support general office administration and compliance tasks.
Accounting & Financial Management
Manage the full set of accounts including General Ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
Handle cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management analysis.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
Assist in annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
Maintain internal controls and assist with financial policies and procedures.
Banking Operations
Manage day-to-day banking activities including payments, transfers, and LCs.
Coordinate with multiple banks regarding facilities, guarantees, and account services.
Monitor bank transactions and ensure timely reconciliation.
Prepare bank documentation for new facilities, loans, and amendments.
Maintain banking relationships and track interest charges, overdrafts, etc.
Administrative Support
Assist with office administration including documentation, contracts, and renewals.
Coordinate with HR/PRO for visa processing, labor contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain company licenses, insurance, and compliance records.
Support procurement and vendor management as needed.
Ensure smooth office operations and handle general administrative tasks.
