Account Assistant in charge of accounting work for a warehouse store.
Key responsibilities
- Record and monitor stock inflows, outflows, and adjustments, including receiving, pick-and-pack, shipping, and returns.
- Reconcile physical stock counts and WMS data against general ledger and invoice records.
- Capture client-specific pricing and reconcile carrier and operational costs against sales.
- Identify margin leakages or missed charges.
- Support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and audits of revenue and inventory cycles.
- Prepare inventory and margin reports, manage credit control and collections, and ensure local tax or VAT compliance.
Experience and qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of UAE experience in accounting, financial analysis, or manufacturing accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Al Ameen software, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial models.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work responsibly toward results.
