3D Modeler / Technical Support Assistant

Overview

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models of buildings and structures
• Work from CAD plans where available
• Model buildings from reference images and online resources when plans are unavailable
• Travel to sites when required for reference gathering and measurements
• UV unwrap and texture assets using a PBR workflow when required
• Optimize models and textures for performance and real-time use
• Create high-quality renders and visual presentations where required
• Upload and manage completed assets within our custom software system
• Assist with troubleshooting software issues with both internal and external stakeholders
• Provide basic IT support and general troubleshooting assistance
• General Word / Office-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Experience with Blender (preferred)
• Experience with 3D modelling workflows
• Understanding of UV mapping, texturing, optimization, and PBR workflows
• Ability to create efficient, clean, and performance-friendly assets
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Basic IT support / troubleshooting experience

Highly Desirable

• CAD experience
• Experience modelling real-world buildings or architectural assets
• Rendering and presentation experience
• Familiarity with game engines or real-time rendering workflows
