Programme Overview
RBC Wealth Management is recruiting winter co-op students for several data-focused roles.
Potential roles include Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, Data Team Co-op, Data Engineer, and Advisor Sales Analyst.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage data pipelines, integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems.
- Improve CRM data hygiene and address data-quality issues with stakeholders.
- Write SQL and Python automation across SQL Server, SAS, and Snowflake.
- Use Eagle, Charles River, Bloomberg, and Excel for trade processing, settlement monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
- Support data-product testing, test automation, SDLC initiatives, and big-data analytics capabilities.
- Process setup on Eagle and prepare data for advanced analytics and business use cases.
- Deploy and manage data infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Required Qualifications
- Must be returning to school after the work term or require the term for graduation.
- Strong quantitative background and experience with SQL and large data sets.
- Knowledge of AWS, cloud computing, or similar storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, and Unix/Linux/Bash scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and professional software engineering practices across the SDLC.
- Willingness to learn data capabilities, AI/ML, and business intelligence tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering is advantageous.
- Exposure to Snowflake or cloud data platforms.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML workflows.
- Self-starting ability, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, teamwork, and developed communication skills.
Student Eligibility
- These are student co-op positions with work terms ranging from 4 to 16 months.
