Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise complete Zakat and Tax compliance and advisory engagements, including risk assessment and scoping in coordination with the Manager.
- Supervise and review the work of the full engagement team, ensuring computations, returns, and advisory deliverables comply with ZATCA regulations and firm quality standards.
- Resolve technical and logistical issues arising during engagements, escalating only significant judgmental matters to the Manager.
- Manage client relationships throughout the engagement, including kickoff and closing meetings and communication of tax findings.
- Own engagement economics — monitoring budget-to-actual hours and proposing scope adjustments where needed.
- Draft tax advisory reports, Zakat/tax position papers, and recommendations for Manager and Director review.
- Lead performance evaluation input for team members and identify training needs within the engagement team.
Qualifications
- 5-6 years of experience in Zakat and Tax with a track record of independently running full engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business (Master's an advantage).
- Fully qualified CPA / ACCA / SOCPA (or equivalent).
- Comprehensive command of Saudi Zakat & Tax Regulations, ZATCA requirements, VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Demonstrated track record managing complex client portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
- English level – Excellent; Arabic – Very Good.
