About Your Team
Our Worker Welfare team focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment for all employees.
Led by the Worker Welfare Inspector, we regularly check workplace conditions, ensure rules are followed, and address employee concerns in a fair and respectful way.
By working closely with site teams and running welfare activities, we help maintain a positive workplace where employees feel valued and supported.
Your Role
- As a Worker Welfare Inspector, you will
- Ensuring workplace Worker Welfare requirements are implemented and complied with.
- Coordinating with all concerned parties to ensure workplace-specific Worker Welfare facilities are in line with the Legal and ALEC requirements.
- Conducting monthly audits/Inspections on the approved company provided accommodation facilities and issue a report thereof to the WWC for review and approval.
- Conducting weekly Inspections on the project welfare facilities and issue a report thereof to the WWC for review and approval.
- Conducting weekly Inspections on the approved company provided transportation (buses and light vehicles) and issue a report thereof to the WWC for review and approval.
- Conducting daily monitoring of all food that is delivered to the project site for consumption by the employees on the project and issue a report thereof to the WWC for review and approval. Food temperatures must be maintained before consumption at 60 degree C or as close as possible thereto.
- Coordinating with WWC to ensure non-conformances raised during inspections are followed up and closed out without unnecessary delay.
- Participating in any Worker Welfare related meetings as stipulated by the WW Department.
- Apply technical expertise and discipline-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality outcomes within your area of specialisation
- Apply the Company’s frameworks to guide role expectations, levels of responsibility, skills, development, and progression.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
