Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by grinding, cleaning, washing, and patching cracks or defects.
- Apply primers to ensure proper adhesion of the waterproofing system.
- Apply liquid membranes using rollers, brushes, or specialized spray equipment.
- Reinforce joints, corners, and penetrations with mesh or fabric backing as required.
- Monitor wet film thickness against manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain tools and spray equipment in clean, working order.
Requirements and qualifications
- Proven experience as a waterproofing technician, specifically with liquid-applied systems.
- Familiarity with mixing and handling multi-component chemical coatings, such as epoxies and polyurethanes.
- Airless spray equipment experience is a strong advantage.
- Physical stamina for working on foot and outdoors in varying weather.
- Attention to detail to deliver a seamless, leak-proof finish.
Compensation and employment
- Salary is AED 1,400–1,600 per month.
